Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, oil or moisture. For best adhesion, wipe the surface and allow it to dry completely before applying your label.
Carefully peel away the backing film. The design should stay on the clear transfer film.
Position the label where you would like it to go.Once placed, try not to move it, as the adhesive begins to bond to the surface.
Press firmly across the whole design using your fingers, a scraper or a card.Make sure you press over every part of the design, especially small letters, edges and fine details.
Slowly peel away the clear transfer film at a low angle. If any part of the design lifts, lay the film back down and press firmly again before peeling.
For best results, allow 24-72 hours before washing or heavy use.
For items such as drink bottles, lunch boxes, smoothie cups and other washable everyday items, please take extra care when applying your label.
Larger stickers need extra time and firm pressure to ensure every part of the design bonds properly to the surface.
After applying the label and peeling away the clear transfer film, gently warm the label with a hair dryer on low or medium heat for a few seconds. While the label is warm, press firmly over the whole design again using your fingers, a soft cloth, scraper or card. This helps remove any trapped air, smooth the design and improve adhesion before curing.
Pay extra attention to edges, small letters, fine details and larger solid areas. If you notice any small air bubbles, gently warm the area and press the bubbles out toward the edge of the design. For larger stickers, work slowly from the centre outward.
Allow the label to cure and set for at least 48–72 hours before washing or heavy use.
For the longest lasting result, hand washing is recommended. Avoid soaking, scrubbing directly over the design, commercial dishwashers and very high heat.
